Ranked second in the world, Avengers: Endgame has managed to satisfy the desires of Marvel fans. You might have thought this would happen because indeed, Avengers: Endgame has been anticipated by many people around the world. But did you know that in the Avengers: Endgame movie there is a deleted scene. Russo Brothers just told about cutting this scene and of course, they have good reasons for this.
The deleted scene is at the end of the film after Iron Man snaps his finger to eliminate Thanos and his friends. The scene is the moment where Iron Man was in the world after his death and he met his grown daughter (played by Katherine Langford). Surely it will add to the impression of emotion when we watch Avengers: Endgame, but the scene is deleted. The reason is that the scene might confuse the audience and surely the Russos won’t take the risk.
“There was an idea that we had that Tony was going to go into the metaphysical way station that Thanos goes in when he snapped his fingers. And that there was going to be a future version of his daughter in that way station,” Joe Russo said. “The intention was that his future daughter–because these films are dealing with magic–forgave him and sort of gave him peace to go. And the idea felt resonant. But it was just too many ideas in an overly complicated movie,” Joe continued.
